Microsoft offers 2 versions of this ERP System; Essentials and Premium. The Essentials Version is just $70/user/month, while additional functionality can be found in the Premium Version at $100/user/month.
Hosted Private Cloud Subscription
A Monthly subscription license for Business Central hosted in a private cloud with the hosting provider of your choice. You decide where the software and data are hosted and when updates are applied. This option gives you more control.
Traditional On-Premises or Private Cloud Perpetual
A license for Business Central that you pay upfront for the perpetual use. This has been model for years and includes an annual maintenance charge. It can be deployed on your servers on- premises or anywhere else you choose because you own the software. For certain customers, this is an option that they prefer as you, in a sense, owning the software, however, are still strongly recommended to keep current on the annual maintenance to keep the ERP system running smoothly.
