Good news for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Users!  Microsoft now has released plans for further productivity and user enhancements for Business Central from April through September 2022 with release 1.   Dynamics Business Central is a full-featured ERP business management system designed for small to mid-sized organizations that require to get the most out of and can take advantage of modern technology solutions.  Microsoft’s commitment to this continued goal has resulted in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2022 Release Wave 1.

In this release wave, further investments are centered on helping users get to productive usage faster, whether they are new or existing customers, by providing in-app improvements to help them get started. Furthermore, there is an expansion on the capabilities of the” Help Pane” and make it the go-to resource for users.

In addition, with continued geographic expansion, improved performance, and usability by focusing on easier navigation in menus, Microsoft Business Central users can benefit from being more productive than ever.

Business Central’s main enhancement areas include:

Administration: In 2022 release wave 1, Business Central delivers a set of features that are designed to simplify and improve the way our partners administer tenants, and the way administrators manage licensing and permissions.

Application: The finance and supply chain capabilities in Business Central are improved with several optimizations and enhancements of the capabilities so that users can execute business processes more productively.

Seamless service: No matter the industry type of a small or midsized business (SMB), business users expect dependable service and a platform that they can run their business on.

Power Platform: We improve our Power Automate capabilities, making it much easier to set up workflows for the specific needs of an organization.

Reporting Improvements:  Reporting is robust with MS Business Central and now has been improved in a key area: Financial Management.  Both the Account Schedules and reporting Excel Templates have been enhanced for easier to use access.
